I Truly Understand What You’re Going Through — Because I’m Living It Too.
I’m Kate, living with osteoporosis and osteopenia — and I’ve helped countless women feel stronger, safer, and more confident in their bodies.
I’ve felt the fear, the confusion, and the overwhelm that come with this diagnosis. I’ve lived through the bone loss, the fracture, and the uncertainty. And that’s exactly why My Bones My Muscles exists — to give women like you simple, safe, practical support that actually makes sense.
From Diagnosis to Determination — And a Mission to Help Women Like You
Before I ever coached a single woman with osteoporosis, I had already spent years supporting women through one of the biggest transitions of their lives: menopause. I was going through it myself, learning firsthand how powerful — and at times overwhelming — hormonal changes can be.
I saw how dramatically they affect a woman’s body, energy, sleep, strength, mood, and confidence. And I understood, from the inside out, how easy it is to feel like your body is shifting underneath you.
So when I eventually received my own osteoporosis and osteopenia diagnosis, everything I had learned coaching menopausal women suddenly became even more personal. I felt the same fear and confusion that so many women feel. I didn’t know where to begin, what to believe, or how to support my body in a way that actually made a difference.
When I began working at OsteoStrong, things started to become clearer. I wasn’t alone anymore — and neither were the women walking through the door.
I had the privilege of working closely with two remarkable coaches there:
Fiona, whose kinesiology and physical therapy background helped women feel safe and capable in their movement.
Katya, whose strength, mobility, and Pilates expertise helped women rebuild confidence in their bodies.
Together, we supported hundreds of women, listened to their fears, celebrated every tiny victory, and learned what truly matters when you’re living with osteoporosis or osteopenia.
But my journey didn’t begin or end there.
For years before OsteoStrong, I had been working with Meg and Tarinee in another studio. Both of them have a profound and intuitive understanding of the body.
Meg, with her breathwork and bodywork, yoga, pilates, and grounding presence, continually supported women who needed a calm, steady hand.
Tarinee, with her extensive background in massage and bodywork, pilates, yoga, and strength and conditioning, brought a level of insight and care that women felt immediately.
A core truth began to appear…
Women weren’t lacking effort.
Women weren’t lacking motivation.
Women were lacking clear, compassionate guidance they could trust.
They were being told to “eat better,” “move more,” “lift weights,” “manage stress,” and “sleep well”…
But no one was showing them how to do those things in a way that felt safe, simple, and doable. That’s when it became clear that we needed something more personal. More practical. More supportive. More human.
That’s why My Bones My Muscles was created — bringing together everything our team has lived, learned, and witnessed, to help women feel stronger, safer, and more confident in their bodies again.

Why We Do This Work
Because women deserve simple, practical support from people who truly understand.
We’re a team of women — coaches, nutritionists, movement experts, and wellness professionals — who know exactly what it feels like to face an osteoporosis diagnosis and not know where to begin. That’s why we created My Bones My Muscles: a supportive, no-nonsense program that blends science with simplicity, and action with empathy.
We help women 40 and up take practical steps toward stronger bones, better balance, improved mobility, and renewed confidence. Our approach is holistic—combining smart movement, nourishing nutrition, stress relief, and better sleep. Women trust us because we make complex advice simple, offer tools that actually work, and lead with care, not judgment.
We’ve walked this road ourselves — and now we’re here to walk it with you.
